He is researcher of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University.
He has a Ph.D. in Russian media studies. He worked as economics editor in
Moscow daily "Nezavisimaya Gazeta", PR strategist and advisor to
the Vice-Prime Minister of Russia. His area of research is political
spectacle and the technologies of social reality construction (and
deconstruction) using myth, ritual and drama as well as modern marketing
and advertising technologies.
Within the symposium he is a coordinator of section "Power,
Ideology, State and the Internet" and co-coordinator of section "The
Art of Campaigning".
